Dr.Dinah Amongin

Is a Lecturer of Public Health at Busitema University Uganda. Before joining Busitema University she served as the Academic Director of the Master of Public Health programme at the Uganda Christian University.  She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and Masters of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Makerere University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Manchester.

Dr.Amongin has over 10 year experience in maternal and child health care with major focus on HIV/AIDS Research, Maternal and Child health, advocacy work, mentorship and support supervision, and outreach community work. For this fellowship, Dinah will focus on understanding repeat adolescent pregnancy in Eastern Uganda in a bid to ending preventable maternal and child deaths.
