Grants Office

With support from THRiVE and other funding agencies, Makerere University College of Health Science established a Grants and Contracts Office which is one of the components in the MakCHS Research Support Centre. The Office which is manned by four officers is dedicated to supporting researchers to increase their research productivity. Other institutions have also established mechanisms to support their researchers.

The Grants Office is dedicated to working with Researchers to increase the number of successful research grants, and improve grants management  projects and fellowships. The office offers support to efficiently manage funded grants and projects under three broad components that include; Resource Mobilisation (RM), Capacity Building (CB) and Grants and Contracts Management (GC).

The grants office is responsible for sourcing various grant application opportunities and making them known to the various researchers in partner institutions through various avenues
