Teefe Paul MBA (Mak) B. Com. (Mak) is a Finance Officer in The Department of Finance Makerere University, Uganda. He has worked in the Makerere University for a period of time, since 1990. Included among the numerous trainings he has received in the area of Financial Management is: Building Leadership Capacity and Resource Mobilisation from Franklin Convey, London, Government Financial Management from International Consortium on Government Financial Management (florida, USA), Research Administration and Management from Johns Hopkins Medicine Center for Clinical Global Health Education & Mesau Consortium, Baltmore USA, Systems Implementation from The University of Bergen (Norway), Monitoring and Evaluation from IMA International (Thailand) and Administrative Law from Makerere University.
Practical skills are in the areas of Financial Management mainly in Monitoring and evaluation, financial accountability, Value for money audits etc. He has done a lot of work in the said areas and handled financial management for the following projects among others: Norwegian Agency for International Development Institutional Support to Makerere University, Carnegie Corporation of New York Support, THRiVE and he has been a chairperson of THRiVE Finance Committee that brought together all Finance Officers of the seven participating institutions in East Africa.
