Racheal Ninsiima is a THRIVE communications officer. She is a versatile communications specialist with demonstrated history of working in the media, academia and non-governmental organisations. Racheal is a graduate of Makerere University where she received an MA in Journalism and Communication and BA in Mass Communication.

Racheal has worked as a Part Time Teaching Assistant at Makerere University’s Department of Journalism. She is adept at news and feature writing, editing, photography, capacity skills training and managing organizations’ branding and visibility portfolios.

Prior to joining THRIVE, Racheal has worked as a Communications Officer for the Centre of the Study of the African Child (AfriChild); Part Time Teaching Assistant at Makerere University’s Department of Journalism; Donor Liaison at World Vision-Uganda and Journalist with the Observer Media.
