The Alliance for Accelerating Excellence in Science in Africa (AESA) hosted the Developing Excellence in Leadership, Training and Science (DELTAS) Africa Annual Grantees Meeting from 3-5 July Accra, Ghana at the Fiesta Royale Hotel. The meeting was organized in collaboration with the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP) one of the 11 DELTAS Africa programmes and the University of Ghana. The meeting was preceded by pre- conference workshops on science publishing and translating research into policy
Dr. Angelina Kakooza-Mwesigye scooped an award for first runner up for best abstract while Dr. Arthur Kwizera was the 2nd runner up rapid fire pitch presentations.
