The Training
The training will bring together research officers, postgraduate students and scientists who intend to understand the spatio-temporal pattern of diseases. The training aims to provide basic and intermediate understanding of data and geospatial tools and analytics for disease prediction and monitoring. Furthermore, the training will introduce the concept of system thinking and system dynamics.

GIS and modelling: Basic understanding of geographic concepts and good computer skills.
Data science and management: Basics programming skills and understanding of mathematics.

Training location is Duduville Campus, icipe, Kasarani
Time: 5 hours a day (1100Hrs to 1300Hrs (EAT) and 1400Hrs to 1700Hrs (EAT))
